Our app, Dog Breed Scanner, allows users to upload images of dogs for the purpose of identifying the breed using our artificial intelligence classifier powered by TensorFlow. When a user uploads an image, we may collect certain information about the image, including the file type and size, date and time of upload, and any metadata associated with the image (such as location or camera settings). We use this information to provide the breed identification functionality within the app, and to improve and develop our app’s features and performance.
We do not collect any personally identifiable information from users through the app, nor do we store any information about users or their dogs in our database. We do, however, collect anonymous analytics data, such as app usage statistics and crash reports, to help us improve the app and provide better support to our users.
We do not share any user data with third parties for any commercial purposes. We may, however, share user data with third-party service providers who assist us in providing our app and related services, such as cloud storage providers (such as Firebase Storage) and analytics providers (such as Google Analytics). We take steps to ensure that any third-party service providers we work with are subject to appropriate privacy and security obligations.
We may also share user data when required by law or to protect our legal rights or the safety of our users.
We take appropriate measures to protect user data and ensure its confidentiality, integrity, and availability. All user images uploaded through the app are stored securely in Firebase Storage, using industry-standard encryption protocols to protect against unauthorized access.
We retain user data only for as long as necessary to provide the services requested by the user or as required by law. When user data is no longer needed, we securely delete it from our systems.
Users have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Users may also request that we restrict or object to the processing of their personal information, or exercise their right to data portability.
