1. Subscription Charges
Saeculum subscriptions may be offered on a monthly, annual, usage-based, or otherwise specified billing cycle.
Subscription fees are generally charged in advance for the selected billing period. The applicable price, billing frequency, taxes, usage limits, and included features will be displayed at the time of purchase or specified in a separate order form, quotation, or service agreement.
By purchasing a recurring subscription, you authorize Saeculum and its payment service providers to charge the applicable subscription fees using your selected payment method on each renewal date.
2. Automatic Renewal
Unless otherwise stated during purchase, paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle.
You are responsible for cancelling your subscription before its renewal date if you do not wish to continue using the paid service.
Failure to use the Service, or limited usage during a billing period, does not automatically qualify you for a refund.
3. Subscription Cancellation
You may request cancellation of your subscription at any time by contacting us at [email protected] or through any cancellation option made available within your account.
Your cancellation request should include:
- Your registered name
- Your registered email address
- Your business or workspace name
- Your subscription or payment details
- The reason for cancellation, if you wish to provide one
Unless otherwise specified, cancellation will take effect at the end of your current paid billing period. You may continue using the paid features until that date.
Cancelling a subscription prevents future renewals but does not automatically provide a refund for the current billing period.
4. Refund Eligibility
As Saeculum provides access to digital software and subscription-based services, all payments are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started.
However, we may approve a full or partial refund in circumstances including:
- You were charged more than once for the same subscription or transaction.
- You were charged after a valid cancellation request had already been confirmed.
- An incorrect amount was charged due to a billing error caused by Saeculum.
- A paid service was not activated because of a verified technical problem on our side.
- Saeculum experienced a prolonged and documented service outage that materially prevented you from using the paid Service.
- A refund is required under applicable consumer-protection law.
Refund requests are reviewed individually and remain subject to verification and applicable law.
5. Non-Refundable Charges
Refunds will generally not be provided for:
- Change of mind after purchasing a subscription.
- Partial or unused time remaining in a billing period.
- Failure to cancel before an automatic renewal.
- Lack of use or limited use of the Service.
- Features temporarily unavailable because of maintenance announced in advance.
- Service interruptions caused by your device, internet connection, configuration, third-party integration, or unauthorized account activity.
- Suspension or termination resulting from a violation of Saeculum’s Terms of Service.
- Custom setup, onboarding, consultation, integration, development, or implementation work that has already started or been completed.
- Taxes, bank fees, foreign-exchange charges, or other charges not collected directly by Saeculum.
- Credits, promotional offers, coupons, or complimentary account access.
This section does not limit any non-waivable rights available to you under applicable law.
6. Third-Party and Usage-Based Charges
Saeculum may integrate with third-party platforms and service providers, including WhatsApp and Meta services.
Charges imposed by Meta, WhatsApp, telecommunications providers, payment processors, or other third parties may be separate from Saeculum’s subscription fees. Unless expressly stated otherwise, these charges are not controlled by Saeculum and are non-refundable through Saeculum.
Usage-based charges that have already been incurred, including messaging, conversation, template, API, or communication charges, are generally non-refundable.
Customers are responsible for reviewing and understanding the pricing and refund terms of relevant third-party service providers.
7. Refund Request Process
To request a refund, email [email protected] within seven calendar days of the disputed charge.
Please provide:
- Your registered name and email address
- Your business or workspace name
- The transaction date and amount
- The transaction or payment reference number
- A clear explanation of the issue
- Any supporting documents or screenshots
Submitting a request does not guarantee that a refund will be approved.
We may request additional information to verify the transaction and determine eligibility. Requests containing incomplete or inaccurate information may take longer to process.
8. Refund Processing
If your refund is approved, it will generally be initiated within 7 to 10 business days.
Approved refunds will normally be returned through the original payment method. The time required for the refund to appear in your account may vary depending on your bank, card issuer, payment provider, or location.
Saeculum is not responsible for processing delays caused by banks, payment providers, or other third parties.
9. Failed or Overdue Payments
If a subscription payment fails or becomes overdue, we may:
- Retry the payment through the selected payment method.
- Limit or suspend access to paid features.
- Downgrade the account to an available free or restricted level.
- Terminate the subscription after reasonable notice.
- Recover any undisputed outstanding amount permitted by law or contract.
Restoring access may require payment of all outstanding charges.
10. Account Data After Cancellation
Cancelling a subscription does not necessarily delete your account or its associated data immediately.
Following cancellation, access to paid features may be restricted or removed. Account and workspace data will be retained, deleted, or anonymized in accordance with Saeculum’s Privacy Policy, applicable legal requirements, and any separate agreement with the customer.
You should export any information you need before your subscription or account access ends. Saeculum is not responsible for data that can no longer be accessed after the applicable retention period expires.
11. Promotional and Discounted Subscriptions
Subscriptions purchased using promotional pricing, special discounts, coupons, or limited-time offers remain subject to this policy.
Promotional credits have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money unless required by applicable law.
If a discounted subscription renews at the standard price, the renewal amount displayed during purchase or communicated before renewal will apply.
12. Enterprise and Custom Agreements
If you purchase Saeculum services through a quotation, enterprise contract, custom order form, reseller agreement, or other written agreement, the cancellation and refund provisions in that agreement will apply.
If there is a conflict between this policy and a signed written agreement, the signed agreement will take priority to the extent of that conflict.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund and Cancellation Policy periodically to reflect changes to our services, billing practices, legal obligations, or business operations.
The revised policy will be published on the Saeculum website with an updated effective date. Where required, we will provide reasonable notice of material changes.
Changes will not reduce any refund or cancellation rights that have already arisen under applicable law.
